The battle for the Shrine Hospital has taken 3 years and finally came to an end at the Imperial Sessions in Baltimore. Karnak had many allies and friends in Montreal who worked very hard right up to the final hours before the vote. READ THE REST

The GM Celebrates Canada Day
M.W. Brother John A. Prosnick joined the Shriners of Montreal in the annual Canada Day parade on July 1st. The Freemasons of Quebec are longstanding supporters of the Parade and are a fixture that everyone looks forward to. Kudos to all who took part.

A story of Scottish Generosity

The Montreal Shriners Hospital recently received an impressive donation of $13,000 from the Sons of Scotland, St-Andrews Camps #199, and Montreal Kilwinning Lodge No. 20. The money was donated via the Masonic Foundation of Quebec.

Over sixty Masons, ladies and guests were on hand for the 11th Annual Bedford District Golf Tournament held on Monday June 13, 2005, at the Club du Lac Brome. Everyone enjoyed themselves and a good time was had by all. Players from 14 lodges were on hand and included several sister districts.

Golden Rule's Annual Meeting a Soggy Success

Golden Rule No.5 held their annual Owl's Head mountain top meeting was on June 18th, 2005. A week of rain leading up to the day meant a pretty soggy experience for the soon to be raised mason, but he and the officers persevered through puddles several inches deep.
