Classe d'un jour le 8 avril
Le Grand maître, M.W.Bro John Prosnick, a approuvé la tenue d'une classe masonique d'une journée si certains critères sont respectés. Les organisateurs doivent trouver une loge hôte et trouver les loges ou les frères pour conférer les degrés. Aussi deux dates doivent être retenues, une pour une classe en anglais et l'autre pour une classe en français. Les journées retenues sont samedi le 4 mars 2006 à 09h00 pour ce qui est de la classe anglaise et samedi le 8 avril 2006 à 09h00 pour la classe française. La loge hôte pour ces deux événements est la loge Waverly # 82 sise au 14100 boulevard Pierrefonds à Pierrefonds.

One-Day Class on March 4th
The Grand Master, M.W. Bro John Prosnick, has given tentative approval for a one-day Masonic class if certain criteria are respected. The organizers must find a lodge to host the event and find the lodges and/or the brethren to perform the degree work. Also two dates must be set aside, one for one-day class in English, and the second for a one-day class in French. The dates that are set aside are Saturday March 4th 2006 at 09H00 for the English class and Saturday April 8th 2006 at 09H00 for the French class. The host lodge for these 2 events is Waverley Lodge # 82 located at 14100 Pierrefonds blvd. in Pierrefonds.

Fifty Year Jewel Awarded at Westmount Lodge
Brother Richard. G. Esber was the proud recipient of a 50-Year Jewel presented recently on behalf of Westmount Lodge No. 76. With Grand Master John A. Prosnick looking on, W. Br. Andrew Piaskowski presented the jewel to their distinguished brother.

Donation Made to Old Brewery Mission
Over the holidays, a donation of $4000 was made to the Old Brewery Mission on behalf of the Masters & Wardens Association of District 4.

The cheque was presented by W. Bro. Kamal Lutfi, chairman of the association, and R.W. Bro. Jacques Ruelland, District Deputy Grand Master, District No. 4.

Association for the Blind Receives $1100
During the Grand Master's recent visit to Westmount Lodge No. 76, a special presentation was made to the Montreal Association for the Blind.

A cheque for $1100 was presented by W. Br. Andrew Piaskowski to Andrea Segal. The money was raised at the Charles Ramsey Golf Tournament, and event held annually by the brethren of District No. 2.

WASHINGTON - Some of the most famous buildings in Washington, including the White House, are deeply marked by Freemasonry, the brotherhood that goes back to the cathedral builders of the Middle Ages, says a new exhibit. The show is called "The Initiated Eye: Secrets, Symbols, Freemasonry and the Architecture of Washington D.C." It opened to the public Wednesday.

At the Regular Meeting of Shefford Lodge No. 18 held on Monday December 5, 2005, a resolution was passed unanimously by all members present and voting, that Shefford Lodge permanently move their Charter to the IOOF Hall, 476 Knowlton Road, Town of Lac Brome, Quebec.
