Masonic Foundation Facing Problems
First, a brief review of the origins and history of the Masonic Foundation of Quebec. Prior to the establishment of the Foundation, the Montreal Masonic Temple was owned and managed by the Masonic Temple Corporation. Under an "Order In Council" the Temple Corporation was exempt from taxes. This would have continued to the present if the Temple Corporation had not been superseded by The Masonic Foundation of Quebec.READ THE REST / LISEZ LE RESTANT

Masonic Foundation Accepting Donations
As V.P. of heritage with the Masonic Foundation, I feel it prudent to keep you informed of the situation with the Montreal Masonic Memorial Temple. It is a fine example of neo classical architecture, and the last of the original great Masonic Temples in Canada. For these reasons it is recognized as an official heritage site. This status makes any donations for the preservation of the temple tax deductible.READ THE REST / LISEZ LE RESTANT

Heart Warming Reminder
Twenty years ago, I drove a cab for a living. When I arrived at 2:30 a.m., the building was dark except for a single light in a ground floor window. Under these circumstances, many drivers would just honk once or twice, wait a minute, then drive away. READ THE REST / LISEZ LE RESTANT

Masonic Witchhunts
As we all know, a Masonic Lodge is supposed to be an honorable institution where Brothers are equal and enjoy harmony. Unfortunately, the harmony can be disrupted when two or more Brothers don't see eye-to-eye on something. Theoretically we are supposed to respect the opinions of all Brothers, right or wrong, and let it go at that. Basically, we agree to disagree. But it is sad when Brothers use the fraternity to push their own agenda and besmirch the character of anyone opposing them.READ THE REST / LISEZ LE RESTANT
